The Sifting – Your Faith Will Not Fail

Your faith will not fail in the sifting

Luke 22:31 – 34 (NKJV) “31 And the Lord said,[a] “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” 33 But he said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with You, both to prison and to death.” 34 Then He said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster shall not crow this day before you will deny three times that you know Me.””

A demand was made in the courts of heaven for the disciple to be sifted. The accuser was granted permission to sift him. The Intercessor prayed for his faith not to fail during the sifting.
The Advocate delivered the news to the disciple with this truth, “strengthen your brethren when you have returned to me.” The matter was set and the sifting began. Today many of you are being sifted, but know this, your faith will not fail.
There is an assignment waiting for you after the sifting.

Other Scriptures

Job 1: 3 – 10 (KJV) “6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. 7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? 9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? 10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.”

Amen!… Another dynamic effectual fervent time in Prayer; one of the many things I got out of this time of agreement in intercession is that we are to Contend for the Faith contend- means to fight for the purpose of not being separated from a person or thing. Jude 3 In this Faith is an everlasting weight of Glory beyond all measure we could ever ask or think a Great level of Greatness of his Grace.
