May God shut the lions’ mouths

May God shut the lions’ mouths in your life today. Walk uprightly before God and before man. You will find favor with God – any weapon that has been formed against you shall not prosper

Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV) “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.”

Daniel 6:21-22 (NKJV) “Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever! My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.””

Jeremiah 29: 4 – 7 (NKJV) “4 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, to all who were carried away captive, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem to Babylon: 5 Build houses and dwell in them; plant gardens and eat their fruit. 6 Take wives and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, so that they may bear sons and daughters—that you may be increased there, and not diminished. 7 And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace.”

Love Your Enemies

Matthew 5:43-48 (NKJV) “43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor[a] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,[b] 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren[c] only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors[d] do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

1 Peter 5:8 (KJV) “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

Daniel was innocent!

  • I was found innocent before Him;
  • and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.

They were jealous of Daniel because he was preferred

Daniel 6:3 (KJV) Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

  • Not because he exalted himself above his fellow men
  • Not because he spoke evil about others to the king
  • He did not slander the others
  • He had an excellent spirit in him

They sought to find an occasion against him

Daniel 6:4 (KJV) “Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.”

  • They could find none
  • They could find no fault
  • He was faithful
  • There was no error or fault found in him
  • May you walk upright always that your enemies and accusers will find no fault/error in you.

How can there be no fault in you?

Acts 24:16 (AMP) “Therefore I always exercise and discipline myself [mortifying my body, deadening my carnal affections, bodily appetites, and worldly desires, endeavoring in all respects] to have a clear (unshaken, blameless) conscience, void of offense toward God and toward men.”

The enemy will still try to find a thing to bring you down

Daniel 6:5 (KJV) “Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.”

Daniel 6:5 (AMP) “Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion [to bring accusation] against this Daniel except we find it against him concerning the law of his God. [Acts 24:13-21; I Pet. 4:12-16.]

1 Peter 4:12-14 (AMP) “Beloved, do not be amazed and bewildered at the fiery ordeal which is taking place to test your quality, as though something strange (unusual and alien to you and your position) were befalling you. But insofar as you are sharing Christ’s sufferings, rejoice, so that when His glory [full of radiance and splendor] is revealed, you may also rejoice with triumph [exultantly]. If you are censured and suffer abuse [because you bear] the name of Christ, blessed [are you–happy, fortunate, to be envied, with life-joy, and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of your outward condition], because the Spirit of glory, the Spirit of God, is resting upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. [Isa. 11:2.]”

May God shut the lions’ mouths in your life today. They will not devour you because God has desired to deliver you. They will not hurt you because you have been found innocent before God.
May the Lord deal with your accusers as Darius dealt with those who accused Daniel.
