Breaking out of Prisons and Chains – Prayer and Praise

Date: September 22, 2016/Comments: 0

You may find yourself not only in prison but in an inner prison – God is coming to set you free – he is sending someone to bring deliverance into your life. Through prayer and praise the prisons are going to shake – the chains are going to be loosed – you are going to be free.
Because of your prayers and praises unto God, I declare that the foundations of your prisons are being shaken! All doors are being opened!Your chains are being loosed. You are coming out of that prison of fear, you are coming out of that prison of anger, jealousy, resentment and poverty.

The chains that have hindered your movement are breaking. Not just over you but over your families too!

Acts 16:25-26 (NKJV) “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.”

Acts 16:16 – 24 (KJV) “16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: 17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. 18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. 19 And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers, 20 And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city, 21 And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans. 22 And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. 23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: 24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.”

  • This woman was not free she was in an inner prison – She was possessed by a demonic spirit (inner prison) and she had masters (outer prison)
  • It was not about defending their customs (v 19) the hope of their gains was gone
  • Profited from her misery
  • They would rather keep her in bondage as long as they profited
  • They had no concern for her – she was just a profit making enterprise
  • Implied here – they were he masters/ employers
  • Some people will not be happy when you are delivered – because their gain is associated with your misery
  • They use your affliction as a means to attain an income and generate business. They use you as a photo opportunity – to get donations, referrals and generate business not to help you but to line up their pockets
  • May the Lord confound all those that are profiting from your misery by bringing deliverance and salvation into your life
  • May the Lord break the yoke of your masters from your neck
  • May the Lord set you free in this season

My God if Good oh!
