Idols – vain imaginations, philosophies and thoughts

It’s the vain imaginations, philosophies and ideas that he has exalted above the knowledge of God. It is those thoughts that he worships everyday. They allow him to act holy and like a worshipper, not the one in spirit and in truth but an idol worshipper. He is in love with his mind, he is in love with his thoughts. Dailly he offers up sacrifices on the altar that he has setup for his mind, ideas, philosophies and preferences. He has actually made his thoughts the thoughts of God and he has made his thoughts his God
2 Corinthians 10:5 (NKJV) “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,”

Romans 12:1-2 (NKJV) “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”’

Leviticus 19:4 (NKJV) “‘Do not turn to idols, nor make for yourselves molded gods: I am the Lord your God.”

Luke 1:51 (NKJV) “He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.”

Proverbs 16:3 (NKJV) “Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established.”

Jeremiah 6:19 (NKJV) “Hear, O earth! Behold, I will certainly bring calamity on this people— The fruit of their thoughts, Because they have not heeded My words Nor My law, but rejected it.
