Hebrews 11: 6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, …”
- That there is a God
- That he hears you when you pray
- That he understands
- That He is able to do
- That he is willing to do it for you
He has made provision for the faith that is required to come before him
Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Because you have chosen to have faith in God may he, according to,
Hebrews 11: 6 “…and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
give you His reward
- A good report ( v2)
- Understanding (v 3)
- A Witness that you are righteous ( v4)
- A testimony that pleases God (v 5)
- Be pleasing to God (v 6)
- Salvation for your household (v7)
- An inheritance (v8)
- A city, which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God (v10)
- Fruitfulness and strength even in your old age (v12)
- An Insight to offer unto God that which is precious to you, so that in return God will provide a sacrifice for himself on your behalf (v17)
- A better place in God for your posterity (v 18)
