At times, even though you know how to touch the throne of God in prayer, you may suffer from a barren womb. Visions and dreams have confirmed what will come forth from your loins . . . all the right associations have been made . . . the atmosphere is just right . . . the anointing is flowing . . . a divine relationship has been developed–yet where is the fruit of your labor? Have you ever questioned why barrenness persists?
Take courage in what Isaiah prophesied:
Isaiah 54:1-5 (KJV) “Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman,” says the LORD. Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited. Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth” .
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV) “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”.
In some of our earlier presentations on this platform we shared with you that God set seasons and times in accordance to his purposes and plans. Purposes and plans existed before seasons and times.
Genesis 1, gives clear evidence to the fact, and reaffirms the fact in John 1:1 “in the beginning was the word …” God’s desires and designs are not governed by seasons and times but seasons and times are governed by the agenda that has been set by heaven (the purposes and plans of God)”.
When we see seasons and times changing it is because God has decreed that something is going to happen and it is about to happen. The greatest challenge that we have at most times in understanding our current situations and circumstances is that we fail to understand why seasons are changing as well as failing to understand purposes and plans that God has encapsulated in the womb of seasons and times. It is important for us as individuals to understand that seasons and times are not barren wombs but there are pregnant with the purposes of God.
Response to the word of God
Secondly, it is imperative for us to have an understanding that all created visible or invisible, in heaven and earth were designed to respond to the word of God.
Genesis 1:6 “And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters”
Genesis 1:9 “And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so”
Genesis 1:11 “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so”
Though they may seem incapable but there is something that was set in them to respond to the creator according to his desires at the appointed seasons and times. This off course is predicated on the will of the creator. Failure to respond as designed before the foundation of the earth is an act of rebellion,
Matthew 21:19 (KJV) “And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.”
Though we may walk in rebellion we were still designed to respond to the beckoning of the creator.
Types of Wombs
- Individual (building blocks of the larger pictures)
- Households
- Bloodlines
- Tribes (God chose specific tribes at specific times to birth something in the earth)
- Cities
- Nations (Egypt is a good example, Babylon is another example: these are regarded as Diabolic wombs “conceive and give birth to unholy things”, highly fertile yet what is conceived has no longevity or positive impact in the kingdom)
Classification of Spiritual Wombs (Matthew 13:3 – 9, Mark 4: 4 – 20, Luke 8: 5 – 15)
Matthew 13:3 – 9 “And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; 4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: 5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: 6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: 8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixty-fold, some thirty-fold. 9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.”
- The way side: no conception (Nothing takes root | nothing to encounter the seed that is being sown | in these kind of wombs there is no conception that can take place)
- Stony places: conception takes place but there is no depth (Things take root, but they can not be sustained to birthing: lack of depth : thin wombs)
- Thorny places: conception takes place but there are things that are hostile to what has been conceived to be sustained in the womb (seeds take root, but they are choked up by other things – does not have the ability to incubate. These are characterized by abortions and miscarriages)
- Good ground: Classified into three sub-categories based on the level of productivity (30 fold | 60 fold | 100 fold)
In a place with such a heavy anointing with the seed (word of God being spoken) being sown there exists these wombs that we have mentioned and to the natural world only time will tell which womb you are.
Characteristics of sacred wombs
Sacred wombs are seemingly barren: man himself can not cause conception in these wombs. These sacred wombs can be both people of high esteem or low esteem from a human point of view (for God is not a respecter of persons). These individuals have everything that is required to carry everything to full term but what they have been designed to give birth to can not conceived yet. If you are one of these individuals we want to let you know that its not over yet because God has the final say.
It’s time to acknowledge that you have been set apart and begin to act like it.
