For The Joy That Was Set Before Him He Endured

What God has set before you is greater than the affliction and it is greater than what you are going through. Because of the things that he has set before you, you will endure the present affliction!
Hebrews 12:2 (NKJV) “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Hebrews 11:13 (NKJV) “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.”

In this prayer we prayed for our faith to be strengthened. For us to keep our focus on the one that has promised what he has set before us if we endure. Your faith will not fail because the God has promised is faithful. Keep pressing towards the mark of the high calling. Endure what you must because the reward of it is greater than you can ever imagine. As you endure wait on the Lord because he will not fail you. May this be a blessing to you as much as it was for as we prayed through this prayer
