God Does Not Change

Malachi 3:6 (NKJV) ““For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.”Ezekiel 18:4 (KJV) “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”
John 3:16 (KJV) “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 8:1-12 (KJV) “1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. 2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. 3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. 12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

God has not changed

Self righteous people have appointed themselves as gatekeepers of the house of God. The problem is they have forgotten that it is the house of God – A house of prayer for all the nations (Isaiah 56:7, Mark 11:17). They have gone to a point where they are even keeping God out of his house because he does not conform to their ideal. In this prayer we pray for the church to come into remembrance that :

  • He still loves people
  • He is still drawing in the sinners
  • He is still a merciful God
  • He still has the power to Change man
  • He still hears prayer/ and still answers prayer
  • He does not judge you by the pigmentation of your skin – He looks at your heart
  • He just does not move in church, He also moves outside the church
  • He still heals in and outside the church

We cannot be gatekeepers that are asking God to keep the sinners out of the church. God can still change people and bring them into right standing with them
