When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, he does not come so you can say I am anointed. But he comes to empower you to do. He does not come to anoint you so you can wear colorful suits. It is for the redemption of man and the purposes of God that you are anointed. We Need to understand the anointing and its purpose.
There is a purpose for the anointing. If we say that an anointing is raised up for a purpose then we should take time to identify the purpose of the anointing that we feel in a service. Most of us celebrate because of the things that we feel when the anointing begins to flow and we do not adequately thank God for the purpose that he has released the anointing for.
