The Gift Process

In this message we consider the various factors that affect our response to a gift. We look at factors that we consider in assessing a value to a gift and how that value determined affects our response!
James 1:17‭-‬18 (NKJV) “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.”

Three elements of the gift process

• The giver
• The gift
• The recipient

John 3:16‭-‬17 (NKJV) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

I Peter 1:18‭-‬19 (NKJV) “knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”
