Father forgive us for the innocent children we have spoiled, for the children we have molested, father for the children we have confused in their thoughts, for the children in whom we have instilled injustice and immorality, for the children we have taught that it is good for a man to sleep with a man and for a woman to sleep with a woman. Father forgive us for the children we have not taught to respect their elders, children who see no harm in doing wrong, Children who are so uncomfortable in doing right, and comfortable in doing wrong, Father forgive us for raising a generation that knows not forgiveness, a generation driven by vengeance. Forgive us O Lord for the broken homes we have raised our children in. Forgive us Lord for not instilling balance in our children. We have not taken time to teach them of your goodness. Father forgive us for not having dedicated our children unto you, for not having given them back to you, for us thinking that we could do it all by ourselves. For us thinking that we could do a better job than you. Forgive us Lord for not having taught our children to be parents. Lord, forgive us for giving the devil room to manipulate our children, and us. Forgive us Lord for not have stayed to our vows: O we repent Lord, we repent Lord, we cry unto you Lord forgive us:
We make a vow unto you Lord that we will confess your greatness to our children, that we will teach them your Word day and night, that we will seek your guidance in raising up this generation, that we shall not abscond the duties you assigned to us that we shall be parents, providing an environment which will promote spiritual growth in our children.
O Father that we will teach the difference between wrong and right, that we will proclaim your goodness, that we will teach morality, Lord that we will not be ashamed to go on our knees and pray in front of our children, Lord that we will weep with our children before you. Lord that we will show them how good your kindness is, Lord that we will sing songs of joy for we will have contributed to the growth of a generation that will bring glory to your name by being called your children. Your Word we will teach at any time, our schools we shall cleanse, our temples we shall cleanse, we shall bring you back into our homes, we shall bring you back into our temples, that all we talk about shall be you and things pertaining to your kingdom. O Lord that we shall declare your majesty to our children.
