Life is a cross-country race we all take. The terrain differs each mile. The hurdles, you must jump, the blisters come up and at times the desert terrain comes on. The race sometimes seems endless and the mountains hard to conquer. the Kilimanjaros summit seems unreachable and the smoke thunders, even the echoes no longer seem like an adventure but a nightmare.
I undertake my race faced with mission impossible, but I have my dream team with me, behind me and ahead of me. They surround me as I quest to reach the finishing line. I continue this race as an adventure I chronicle.
God has loved me so and given me this unparred gift of the blood, to run my race well , to complete it and conquer.
In generations to come, they will know me, because I discovered more territories, I invented nothing, but my stamp is on everything.
For every tear I have shed, another gold spec was added, for every heartache and every wrinkle placed because of sorrow, a new seedling sprouted up. For every deception, rejection, hurt , another blessing was added to my God- account.
I live and run this race with wisdom, because I see with the eye of the spirit, so even when I weary I still, run.
Try to understand me, maybe we could change the world together and then maybe I might not be so complex, walk my mile and run my race, then maybe you will know, I hurt too.
