“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…”
Proverbs 23:7 KJV
What God has called foolishness will always be foolishness. What he has classed as wisdom will always be wisdom.
In this second part I consider the nature of the process. Foolishness does not only refer to the nature of the thing that is being regarded but also the way that it is regarded.
One may have in his possession wisdom – such as the word of God – but the thought processes he applies to it evidences his foolishness. The process includes his valuing methods, thought organizations, action systems, and conceptions.
Once again “For as he thinketh…” refers to not just the thought but the process of thinking. One can say – the way a person thinks defines who he is.
So we need not only regard the thought but also the thought process in definition. There are other considerations which I must address pertaining to the above mentioned verse as such another part is needed!
